The YG-97A high-performance mercury intrusion porosimeter is another new product after the JW-100, JW-200, JW-400 and other series of pore size analyzers. It is very suitable for determining the pore size and pore size distribution of block solid materials, especially for analyzing samples with pore size above 100nm. This product, when combined with the JW series microporous analyzer, can achieve full pore testing of nano - and micro scale samples, making it a popular choice in China.

Introduction to Basic Principles

YG-97A high-performance mercury intrusion porosimeter, based on the working principle of capillary pressure, utilizes the non wetting property of mercury on solid samples. Under external pressure, mercury enters the solid pore channels. According to the Washburn equation, the pore volume corresponding to the pore radius can be determined by measuring the volume of mercury injected under different pressures, thus obtaining the pore size distribution curve (porosity) of porous materials. The YG-97A mercury intrusion porosimeter meets the international standard ISO 15901-1:2005 and the national standard GB/T 21650.1-2008.

Product features and advantages

The YG-97A mercury intrusion porosimeter mainly consists of four parts: vacuum system, sample chamber system, pressurization system, and measurement control system. The vacuum system mainly consists of a 2XZ-2 two-stage pump and a vacuum sensor, with a maximum vacuum degree of 0.05Pa;

Sample chamber system: resistant to high pressure and vacuum, with small blank values, high measurement accuracy, and strong stability. By utilizing the principle of gravity difference, pressure measurement technology is carried out in a positive pressure environment, which is convenient, applicable, and ensures the continuity, stability, reliability, and integrity of the entire experiment;

Pressure system: It can provide 0-50Mpa (7250psi) pressure for the testing process, and can infinitely adjust the speed of the pump and control the addition and withdrawal of pressure;

Measurement control system: composed of three parts: pressure measurement, capacitance measurement, and vacuum measurement. Pressure measurement is completed by two pressure transmitters and a digital pressure gauge to measure pressure. Capacitance measurement is completed by a capacitance meter, a capacitance transmitter, and a digital display. Vacuum measurement is achieved by using the thermocouple principle of vacuum silicon to measure the vacuum degree inside the sample chamber;

Strict mercury safety protection measures are in place to effectively avoid the impact of mercury vapor on indoor environments;

The instrument meets the international standard ISO 15901-1:2005 and the national standard GB/T 21650.1-2008;
